The ground rules for using the Longest Table app.
This app is a free companion for The Longest Table, run by the Lakeland Connect team. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please just use the official event website instead.
Your account
One account per person, with accurate information and a display name that isn't offensive or misleading. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
Checking in
Check-ins are for guests who are actually at the business at the time. The app confirms your location when you check in. Trying to collect points you didn't earn, check in from somewhere else, or create extra accounts can get points removed, or your account closed.
Points, tiers and the giveaway
Points, tiers, and raffle entries are part of the event game. They have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged, and can be corrected or removed if a check-in turns out to be invalid. The winner of the scavenger hunt grand prize is drawn at random from eligible entries, and prize details are provided by the sponsor.
What you post
You keep ownership of the photos and text you post to the community feed, and you give us permission to show them in the app and to share them while promoting the event. Please only post photos you took or have permission to use, and keep them free of anything unlawful, hateful, or harassing. We may remove a post or an account that breaks these rules.
Partner offers and links
Offers from downtown businesses and links to other sites are provided for your convenience. Each business sets its own offer terms, and we're not responsible for what happens on another website.
Availability
We keep the app working as well as we can, but it's offered as-is while the event is being planned and run. Details like the schedule can change, and the app may be unavailable at times.
Changes
We may update these terms between events. The current version always lives on this page, and continuing to use the app means you accept it.
