The Longest Table

About The Longest Table

The official companion app for The Longest Table in Downtown Lakeland, Florida.

What this app does

The Longest Table is the pocket guide to The Longest Table, a free community meal served along one very long table on November 14, 2026. Open the app and you get the whole day in your hand: a live map of the table, every participating business, and the Arts & Health Week murals; a scavenger hunt that lets you check in at local shops and restaurants to earn points; a tier system that turns those points into raffle entries for the giveaway; the full music and dancing schedule; and a community photo feed where neighbors share what the day looked like from where they were sitting.

The app also carries the information guests ask about most: the story behind the table, partner offers around downtown, the Arts & Health Week calendar, how to bring one item for the VISTE Personal Care Box drive, and where to find tickets and volunteer shifts.

Who it's for

It's built for everyone with a seat at the table — families, students, longtime Lakelanders, newcomers, and visitors who are in town for the weekend and want to know what's happening and where. It's also made for the people who make the day possible: the downtown businesses, restaurants, galleries, nonprofits, and volunteers taking part. Partners show up on the map and in the partner list, and their offers appear for guests to claim.

Who builds it

The app is built and maintained by the Lakeland Connect team, the organizers and volunteers behind The Longest Table. Event details, the schedule, the story, partner offers, and the VISTE supply drive information are mirrored from the official event site at longesttablelakeland.com so the app and the website always say the same thing. It's a community project, improved between events with feedback from guests and partners.
