Our commitment to making the Longest Table app usable by every guest.
One shared table means everyone has a seat, and that includes this app. We want guests using screen readers, larger text, high contrast, or keyboard or switch controls to be able to use every feature: the map, check-ins, the schedule, the feed, and the leaderboard.
Semantic headings and labelled controls, text that scales with your device settings, colour choices checked for readable contrast, generous touch targets, images with descriptive alt text, and animation that respects your device's reduced-motion setting.
The interactive map is the hardest part of the app to use without sight. Every location on the map is also listed as text next to it, with the same name, address, and check-in button, so the map is never the only way to reach a business or mural. If you find a screen where that isn't true, tell us.
If something in the app is hard or impossible to use, let us know which screen you were on and what happened. Reach us through the contact page, and we'll do our best to fix it before the next event.
